U+0100 – U+017F   (256–383)

These characters are used with Basic Latin. All of these characters are present in Microsoft’s WGL4 character set. Characters 338, 339, 352, 353, 376, 381 and 382 provide Unicode equivalents for some of the characters in the ANSI character set. Characters 305, 338, 339 and 376 provide Unicode equivalents for four of the characters in Apple’s MacRoman character set.
