Help – HAIC Index of Molecular Formulae of Pesticides

This Hetero Atom In Context index includes at least one entry for each substance in the Compendium (including ester and salt derivatives) that includes an element other than carbon and hydrogen. The only substances that are not included are the plant extracts quassia, ryania and sabadilla.

It provides an easy way to see which pesticides contain a particular element.

The molecular formulae are sorted first by the number of hetero atoms that they contain (in a column with a coloured background), and then by the normal rules for sorting molecular formulae.

For example, the molecular formula C6H6Cl4MgO4 would appear in the Cl4 section of the HAIC index for chlorine as:

C6H6Cl4MgO4dalapon-magnesium

and in the Mg1 section of the HAIC index for magnesium as:

C6H6Cl4MgO4dalapon-magnesium

and in the O4 section of the HAIC index for oxygen as:

C6H6Cl4MgO4     dalapon-magnesium
